Frequently Asked Questions

Not a disposable one. The Happy Nappy™ is designed to be worn on its own for general swimming, inflatable pools or the ocean, and its seals keep solids in without anything underneath.

Only if your swim class asks for a double diaper system, so it's a good question to put to your instructor. If they do, the Silver Lining Diaper Wrap goes on first, with the Happy Nappy™ over the top.

Right here, in every print and size we make. Browse the collection below, and if it's your first one, measure your baby before you pick a size.

For most babies, we'd say a reusable neoprene swim diaper that seals snugly at the waist and thighs, because that seal is what keeps solids out of the pool. It's why the Happy Nappy™ tops our list of the best swim diapers, though we'll admit we're a little biased.

Go by measurements rather than age, since babies the same age can be very different sizes. Lay your baby flat, ideally not straight after a feed. Measure around the tummy across the belly button and around the fullest part of the thigh, then check both against our Happy Nappy™ swim diaper size chart.
