The Happy Nappy™ Sunsuit brings our award-winning reusable swim diaper and a lightweight UPF 50+ rash guard together in one baby swimsuit. Sun and leak protection are taken care of in a single outfit, so you can relax and enjoy those first splashes together.
Sizes run from 0-3 months up to 2 years, so there's a fit for their very first summer and for the next one too, when the Sunsuit becomes a toddler swimsuit for pool days and beach vacations. Choose the print you love most below; whichever you pick, the same snug, comfortable fit sits underneath.
How do I choose the right size?
If this is your baby's first swim diaper, the size is the part that matters most, because the built-in Happy Nappy™ keeps leaks in by sitting snugly at the waist and thighs. A few minutes with a soft tape measure is all it takes. Here's what to check:

Lay your baby down flat to measure, a little while after a feed rather than straight after

Measure gently around the tummy, across the belly button

Measure around the fullest part of each thigh

Once it's on, you should be able to slide a finger comfortably around the edges of the seals, with no red marks on their skin

The Happy Nappy™ component of the Happy Nappy™ Sunsuit requires a correct fit for complete solid leak protection. Since babies vary in size, it's essential to measure your baby accurately and consult the size guide to ensure you purchase the right size. Measure your baby while lying flat and not immediately after a feed. Take measurements around their tummy, across the belly button, and at the fullest part of their thigh. When worn, there should be enough space to fit a finger comfortably around the edges of the seal, with no red marks
No. The Happy Nappy™ is designed to be used without any other swim diaper underneath and can be worn in this way for general swimming, inflatable pools or the ocean. However, some organised swimming classes require a double diaper system; in such cases, you will also need to purchase a Silver-Lining or Cotton Nappy Wrap to wear underneath. This system can also make changing and washing a soiled Happy Nappy™ easier.
No. As with disposable swim diapers, the Happy Nappy™ within the Happy Nappy™ Sunsuit does not hold in urine. It is designed to allow water to pass in and out of the diaper to prevent it from becoming waterlogged. However, it is incredibly reliable in containing solids
To keep your Happy Nappy™ Sunsuit in good condition, we recommend hand washing in cool water and drying away from direct sunlight. However, we understand that soiled diapers may occasionally require machine washing. If you need to machine wash, please do so at 85°C using a non-biological detergent. Please note that frequent machine washing may affect the longevity of the product.
